Functional Rehab is structured, gym-based rehabilitation — designed to help you build strength, restore movement, and return to real-life activity with confidence.
It’s not exercise for the sake of it. It’s targeted training that fits into your treatment plan, led by one of our Sports Therapists or Rehab Specialists, and fully tailored to your injury, goals, and progress.
We use Functional Rehab to bridge the gap between hands-on treatment and the life you want to return to — whether that’s high-level sport, pain-free walking, or anything in between.
How Functional Rehab Helps
Gym-based rehab tailored to your body, your goals, and your recovery — always as part of your treatment plan.
Whether you’re coming back from a sports injury, rebuilding after surgery, preparing for an event, or restoring confidence in your movement — Functional Rehab is where you get stronger, safer, and more capable than before.
And just as importantly — to help you:
What to Expect in Your Sessions
Every Functional Rehab session takes place in our dedicated Rehab Studio — a fully equipped, private gym environment designed specifically for recovery and performance.
You might:
- Train strength using free weights, resistance bands, or the Kaiser squat rack
- Restore control and power using the ForceFrame® or Hypervibe®
- Improve balance, movement patterns, and joint loading
- Rebuild walking or running confidence using the AlterG® Anti-Gravity Treadmill
- Work through Pilates-based core and control work with Jen
No guesswork. No wasted effort. Just structured, progressive rehab focused on helping you move better — and get back to doing what you love.

Who Will Treat You?
Our Functional Rehab sessions are delivered by:
- Jen – Rehab Assistant with personal training qualifications, working under the guidance of your treating therapist. Jen also offers 1-to-1 Clinical Pilates as part of Functional Rehab.
- Lucy, Jaime, Jess, and Hannah – Expert Sports Therapists with a focus on strength and rehabilitation.
They’ll work closely with your physiotherapist to ensure your gym-based rehab supports the hands-on treatment you’re receiving — and pushes you towards the outcomes you care about.
