Emily Doré

Sports Therapist | MSc Physiotherapy (Pre-Reg) Student

Emily studied Sports Therapy at Bournemouth University, graduating in 2025 with a First Class Honours degree and being selected by her lecturers for the Sports Therapy award recognising outstanding academic achievement. She completed her placement year at AFC Bournemouth, which exposed her to managing and treating a wide range of injuries, and is now continuing her studies as an MSc Physiotherapy (Pre-Reg) student while working at Physio Fitness part-time.

Emily has always been fascinated by human science, and her interest in the field grew after experiencing intensive post-operative rehabilitation following an ACL rupture and meniscus tear while playing netball in 2019. Her dissertation focused on current best-practice approaches to tendinopathy treatment, which remains a particular clinical interest alongside ACL and knee-related conditions.

Outside the clinic she enjoys playing tennis, cooking and going to gigs and concerts.

  • BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy – Bournemouth University, First Class (2025)
  • Currently studying MSc Physiotherapy (Pre-Reg)
  • Society of Sports Therapists (SST) – 26410
  • Tendinopathy
  • ACL rehabilitation and knee-related conditions

Emily used to be one of the fastest sprinters in the UK for her age group, and has worked pitch-side as a therapist at St James’ Park – a surreal experience!
